1. About this site

Kartapay (kartapay.co.uk) is operated by Best Business Loans Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 16833937), registered office Cust Hall, Toppesfield, Halstead, Essex CO9 4EB, ICO registration ZC151816. Kartapay is an independent UK card-payments and business-finance comparison site for SME owners whose first business language is not English. Phase 1 covers Polish and Romanian. Please read these terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. Acceptance and changes to these terms

By using this site you accept these terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, the law or regulatory guidance; the version on this page applies to your use, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

3. Who can use the service

Kartapay is for UK businesses seeking card payment services and business finance. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act on behalf of the business named on any enquiry.

4. What Kartapay is not

Kartapay is not a payment provider, acquirer, or merchant account issuer. We compare and introduce.
Kartapay is not a lender or broker authorised under FSMA. We are an introducer to UK-licensed acquirers, payment facilitators, and FCA-registered or HMRC-registered finance lenders.
Kartapay is not affiliated with any Polish-domestic service (we are not polcard.pl, NETOPIA, or Banca Transilvania) or any Romanian-domestic service (we are not mypos.com/ro-ro or sumup.com/ro-ro). We compare only UK-licensed providers serving UK SMEs.

5. Accuracy

Comparison data on Kartapay is updated regularly from the providers' public documentation, public APIs, and verified industry sources. Rates, fees, contract terms, and product availability change frequently. You must verify all figures with the provider before signing any contract. Kartapay is not liable for any difference between published comparison data and the contract you are offered.

6. Lead introductions

When you submit a quote form, you consent to Kartapay introducing you to the named UK-licensed provider relevant to your enquiry. The introduced provider is responsible for the contract you are offered and for any onboarding, KYC, AML, and credit checks. Kartapay does not earn commission from you. We may earn an introducer fee from the provider; this does not change the price you pay.

7. No financial advice

Content on Kartapay is general information and editorial comparison. It is not regulated financial advice. If you need regulated advice you should contact an FCA-authorised adviser.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to submit fraudulent enquiries, scrape at scale (use the public RSS feeds, not the HTML pages), upload malware, or interfere with the operation of the site. We may block any IP or account that breaches these terms.

9. Intellectual property

All Kartapay content (English, Polish, Romanian) is the intellectual property of Best Business Loans Ltd unless otherwise credited. You may quote up to 150 words with a visible link back. Translations and full-page copies are not permitted without written consent.

10. Availability of the site

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw or change all or any part of the site without notice. The site and its tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kartapay's total liability for any claim arising from your use of this site is limited to GBP 100. We are not liable for the decisions, acts, omissions or products of any provider, or for any contract you enter into with a provider. This does not exclude liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any loss, claim or cost we incur as a result of your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or any inaccurate or unauthorised information you submit through it.

13. Data protection

We handle personal data in line with UK data protection law. How we collect, use, share and protect your information, and your rights over it, are set out in our Privacy Policy.

14. Complaints

If you are unhappy with the Kartapay service, email [email protected] and we will look into it and respond. A complaint about a provider's product or contract should be raised with that provider, who is responsible for the product and its own complaints process.

15. General

If any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. We may transfer our rights and obligations to another group company; you may not transfer yours without our consent. A person who is not a party to these terms has no rights to enforce them.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The English courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

Ce NU este Kartapay: nu suntem acquirer, procesator, bancă sau creditor. Nu suntem parte la contractul pe care îl semnezi. Nu suntem o platformă românească, nu suntem mypos.com/ro-ro, NETOPIA sau Banca Transilvania. Comparăm numai furnizori britanici licențiați.

Acuratețea datelor: tarifele, comisioanele și condițiile se schimbă des. Verifică cu furnizorul înainte de a semna. Nu răspundem pentru diferențe între ce arătăm pe site și oferta primită.

Recomandare către furnizor: trimițând formularul ești de acord ca Kartapay să transmită datele firmei britanice numite. Tu nu plătești nimic, furnizorul ne plătește un comision de recomandare (nu afectează prețul tău).
